What to expect, step by step
How a session works, from arrival to the last shower
A session at our salon follows five simple steps: a discreet welcome, a warm private shower, a Thai-style hand massage with warm oil, the body to body glide with warm oil, and a quiet return to calm with a final shower. Everything happens in a private, softly lit room, at your pace, with a Thai masseuse who speaks English.

Step 1: a discreet welcome
The salon is at 42 rue de Bruxelles, a calm street in Paris 9th, two minutes from Place de Clichy metro. You are welcomed simply and without fuss, then shown up the softly lit staircase to a private room with pink and violet light, warm air and quiet music.
If it is your first time, you can ask any question you like at this point. Your masseuse speaks English and will explain how the session will go. You can learn more about our Thai masseuses before you come.
Step 2: the warm shower
Every massage begins with a private shower. It is a matter of hygiene, of course, but also a transition: the warm water loosens the muscles and helps you leave the metro, the meetings or the museum queues behind. Towels and shower gel are provided.
If you chose the shower body to body massage or the soapy massage, your masseuse joins you under the water, and this step becomes part of the massage itself.
Step 3: the Thai warm-up
You lie face down on the massage table. Your masseuse warms the oil in her hands and begins with a Thai-style massage: pressure along the spine, the shoulder blades, the neck, long strokes on the legs, sometimes a gentle stretch. This phase matters. It releases the physical tension so that the body can fully enjoy what follows.
Tell her if you want more or less pressure. A single word is enough.
Step 4: the body to body glide
This is the heart of the session. Your masseuse oils her own body and begins the body to body glide: slow, continuous movements along your back and legs, using her forearms, her stomach and her whole body. After a while, you turn over and the massage continues on the front of the body, always slowly.
Every massage has its own variation. In the tantric massage the rhythm slows down even more, with pauses and breathing. In the four hands massage, two masseuses move in sync. The principle, explained in detail on our body to body massage page, stays the same.
Step 5: back to calm
The session ends gently. A few moments of stillness, then a final shower to rinse off the oil or gel. You get dressed at your own pace, drink a glass of water and step back out onto rue de Bruxelles, usually a little lighter and a little slower than when you arrived.
A professional framework
A session at our salon is a professional massage, given by trained masseuses by the book. The masseuse may end it at any point if she sees fit, and an indecent request or inappropriate behaviour leads to immediate cancellation, without refund. It is all explained in our house rules.

Frequently asked questions
How early should I arrive for my massage?
Five minutes before your booked time is perfect. It gives you time to find the entrance, catch your breath and settle in without eating into your massage. If you are coming from further away, for example from Opéra or a hotel near the Champs-Élysées, allow a little margin for the metro.
Can I ask for more or less pressure during the massage?
Of course. Your masseuse adapts to you, but she cannot guess everything. A simple word is enough: softer, stronger, slower, or a spot that needs more attention. Our Thai masseuses are used to working with clients from all over the world, so a few words of English or even a gesture is fine.
Is it OK to talk during the massage, or should I stay silent?
Both are fine. Some clients like a little conversation at the start, then naturally fall silent as they relax. Others prefer silence from the first minute. There is no rule. The only important thing is to say if something is uncomfortable, so your masseuse can adjust the pressure or the position.
What happens right after the massage?
You rest for a moment, then take a final shower to rinse off the oil or gel. You get dressed at your own pace and are offered a glass of water. Most people leave feeling light and slightly sleepy, so we recommend planning a calm dinner or a quiet evening rather than a rushed meeting.
