Paris’s great western gateway
Gare Saint-Lazare is one of the oldest railway stations in Paris and one of the busiest. Its trains serve Normandy, from Rouen and Le Havre to Caen, Cherbourg and the seaside towns of the Côte Fleurie, as well as the western suburbs. Underneath, metro lines 3, 12, 13 and 14 and the RER E cross paths, and line 14 now links the station directly to Orly airport.
It is also a station with a place in art history. Claude Monet painted it in a famous series in 1877, fascinated by the steam and light under the glass roof. Outside, two sculptures by Arman, a tower of clocks and a stack of suitcases, greet travellers in the forecourts.
A short trip up rue d’Amsterdam
The salon lies just north of the station. The walk is almost a straight line: rue d’Amsterdam runs along the east side of the station and climbs gently for about 13 minutes towards Place de Clichy. You pass Liège metro halfway, then turn into rue de Bruxelles just before the square.
In a hurry, or carrying a bag? Line 13 covers the distance in two stops. Either way, the change of scene is quick: from the rush of the concourse to a warm, dim room where time slows down.
Arriving from Normandy
Coming in from a weekend in Deauville, a business trip to Rouen or a long day in Caen? A massage is a lovely way to land in Paris. After a train journey, the back is stiff and the legs heavy; the hot shower and the long, enveloping glide of a body to body massage undo that in minutes.
If you are travelling with a large suitcase, mention it in your WhatsApp message when you book so we can tell you what is practical. And remember the salon closes at 8pm: an afternoon or early evening train works best.
Between meetings: the business traveller’s reset
The Saint-Lazare, Europe and Opéra area is full of offices, and a lunch break or the end of the working day is a good moment for a massage. A few suggestions:
- 30 minutes (€100): a quick, complete reset in the middle of a busy day.
- 45 minutes (€130): an unhurried but compact choice after work.
- One hour (€150): to truly switch off after a long day of meetings.
For the full sensory experience, the shower body to body massage turns the shower into part of the treatment, and the four hands massage doubles the sensations. Business travellers staying near the department stores will also like our page on massage near Opéra.
A clear framework
All sessions are given by Thai masseuses trained in traditional Thai massage, who work professionally and by the book. The framework is respectful and clear: the masseuse may end a session whenever she sees fit, and an indecent request or inappropriate behaviour means immediate cancellation, without refund. For directions from other stations and practical details, see booking and directions.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get from Saint-Lazare station to the salon?
On foot, leave by the rue d'Amsterdam side of the station and walk straight up the street for about 13 minutes; the salon is just before Place de Clichy. By metro, line 13 towards Saint-Denis or Asnières takes you two stops to Place de Clichy, followed by a two-minute walk.
I am arriving by train from Normandy. Can I come for a massage straight away?
Yes, provided you book a slot that suits your arrival time. Trains from Rouen, Caen, Le Havre or the Deauville coast arrive at Saint-Lazare, just 13 minutes' walk from the salon. Send us your train time on WhatsApp and we will suggest a slot, bearing in mind that the salon closes at 8pm.
Can I fit a massage in before catching my train home?
Yes, with a little margin. Count the length of your massage, a few minutes for the showers and getting dressed, then 13 minutes on foot or two stops on line 13 back to Saint-Lazare. With a 45-minute session, allow about an hour and a half between arriving at the salon and your departure time.
